@hark I use mine for rainbows when I remember I have one. I should have pulled out the filter the last time I tried to shoot fog on the lake. We get some interesting fog thanks to the marine layer.

And I hadn't considered using a CP filter for rainbows either. I used to keep a CP filter mounted on my lens all the time but kept running into the greens looking too yellowish because of it. It was a pain to continually adjust the hue/saturation in every image since the results varied depending on how the filter was rotated. So now I only pull it out to enhance or remove reflections.

Will try to remember to use it for rainbows and see how it affects the images. :cool:
