Go in your setup menu and choose "Lock mirror up for cleaning" then blast that air rocket in there to blow off dust.
If that doesn't work, you will have to go with an option that requires you to actually touch the sensor, like a wet cleaning kit or a dust pen (sticky pen that you use to pull dust off the sensor).
With the Clean Image Sensor function in-camera, make sure the camera is facing down otherwise the dust has nowhere to go.
Do the same thing when you use the blower - face the camera downward so gravity can take the dust you just blew off the sensor out of the camera.
Do not blow in the camera yourself. Your breath is hot and moist and will actually cause the dust to stick to the sensor.
DO NOT use compressed air in the can. It's too powerful, and it can actually damage the electronics.
Do a search on sensor cleaning threads here as there are videos that have been linked umpteen million times. Cleaning it yourself is something you should learn if you're shooting with a DSLR.
Thanks folks. Appreciate your input. I know this is billionth time someone asked but I was more specifically looking for what is preferred by nikonites here. I ordered the rocket blower.
