I don't know why, but this one cracks me up every winter:
A mother polar bear and her pup are bobbing along on an ice flow in the middle of the Arctic Ocean when the pup looks up at his mom and says, "Mom, am I really a polar bear?"
His mother looks down at him in surprise and says, "Of course you're a polar bear! I'm a polar bear, and you're my son. So you have to be a polar bear."
The cub says, "That's ok mom, you don't have to worry about hurting my feelings. If I'm not a polar bear you can tell me."
The mother says, "What are you talking about? Look at you: you look like a polar bear, you swim under the ice like a polar bear, you eat seals like a polar bear. You're a polar bear! Why would you even think to ask such a question?"
The cub looks at her and says, "Because I'm fucking freezing."
