Yes a beautiful city but do not get caught on the street drunk or slightly drunk as a guy from work found out as they throw you in prison lol.

I've been visiting that country since the 90s. Compared to the other Muslim countries in the region, it is more suited to tourist and westernized if you will. They have a mall that has an indoor ski recreational activity. How cool is that being a desert country?

I've wiled away many an hour between Irish Kevin's, the Baristi Bar, and the MOE. A lot of those photos are from the marina area, which is probably one of the prettier parts of the city. Brings back some memories.

The amount of money there is insane, isn't it!?

How do muslim countries tend to react to people taking photos (particularly of people)?

My parents went travelling after they got married and they said in India and some other countries you had to be really careful sometimes. This was in the 70's mind so things may have changed?

EDIT - I know India isn't a Muslim country :playful:
