Don's Old Daily Dabblings

Re: Don's D7000 Daily Dabblings

Something you have not seen from me before. I shot these for a friend of my wife. This is just one of the shots for their engagement photos. Very overcast day but the sun did peek out for a minute or two. I did use my SB-700 on camera with the diffuser in place and the flash power set at -1 so it would give just a little extra to the faces. Most of the shots were more close up but this one I shot for me. The leaves and the tree in the background, I thought, would make a nice background.

Great idea, great shot I only think that the tiny twig in the foreground reaching her hand is a bit leading the eyes there.

I can remove that and will. Just way to tired tonight to do anything. I pretty much just pulled these out of the camera and spent a couple of minutes in post and loaded them up to here

Great shot Don! I agree with remove the twig by her hand and perhaps the one directly over their heads. It's not necessary but it may make it even better :) I love the feel of this photo, I am sure that your wife's friends/couple will be delighted with their photographs. Well done Don!

I would LOVE to but I think it's a bit pricey at the moment. How much is it running these days anyway?

CS6 is the last version you will actually be able to buy. It is going to a cloud based app from now on. So you will be renting the software from now on. I am not sure what the price is now. I bought mine under the Academic license which it a lot cheaper. IF you are a teacher or a student you can get a very nice discount on most software.
