Wow, this is not good. :( So can we count on you hanging out here even more now? ;) Hope all goes well with your orthopedic doctor and wishes for a speedy recovery.

Re: Don's Daily Dabblings

I was wondering why it was red, now I know. How long will it be on??

I am a University of Alabama Fan. I worked for them for 10 years and met both of my wives while they were in school there.

Cast on for 6 weeks and then into a boot. Not to bad. More of a pain in the @$$ than any thing else.

I got my wife to roll me out into the sun for a little while this afternoon. Getting cabin fever have to stay in with all the nice weather we are having.

Don, all nice... love the fact that you still have blooms... My 365 yesterday spoke of (and showed) the desolation up here. This am is 25 deg F.. a record low for this date!

Your pretty wife looks like she is saying, "Again??"

Is this a broken leg present to yourself?

WE are still having nice weather and will have days/weeks all the way through December where we have days nice enough to be out without a coat. I do have one heavy leather winter coat and I don't think I wore it even once last winter.

The wife is pretty good about me taking her picture. I usually wait till she is not looking and then tell her to look at me and as soon as she turns her head I shoot. I find I get better pictures of her this way. Not quite so posed and a lot better natural look

Don's D7000 Daily Dabblings

Got a chance to shoot at a night high school football game. Nothing like giving it a hard workout to start with. EXIF is on each photo. High ISO but I was very pleased with the results

Re: Don's D7000 Daily Dabblings

The only trouble I had was the SD card not staying seated. It went ot DEMO and said I did not have any pictures. Had to pull the card and reset it. It happened twice in the game but I did not lose any photos. Will have ot keep an eye on that.

Not sure if its related to the D7000 but i had the exact same problem on my D7000 too.
It even said the card is unusable & i got quite a fright as i was on a holiday & had 3 days worth of photos.
I used another card for the rest of the trip & when i came back i loaded the card and the images were still present..
I attributed it to a faulty card, but when i read your experience it all came back to me... hmmmm

EDIT: Ah sorry.. mine actually said ERROR and not DEMO :)
