My new 70-300 came in this morning so I went to the zoo to try it out.

Have no idea who he is. He was standing in a shadow and I asked his mother if she could move into the sun so I could get a better shot. She moved him out and told him to smile for me. I love the shot.

The final day of the patio and driveway my landscape guy showed up three days early to plant a tree that I had bought.

And while the patio and driveway were been finished up and the landscape guys were planting the tree we had major power problems and had to have the entire power service replaced.

And yes, some of the ISO, shutter speeds are high on some of the shots. While I was shooting three different crews working at the same time I had birds flying overhead that I was shooting.

No, They are just plain ole vultures. They are smaller than your condors. I think they are turkey vultures.

You have GOT to be kidding me! Your breaker panel is outside??? No wonder they go bad! In Canada, all breaker panels are inside the house!

I just upgraded mine too.

I hear what you're saying, and I think it's better to install in the house or in a small utility structure, but in the States I think it depends on the weather. My old panel was installed in the '70's and the only reason I upgraded is I needed more amps.

Mine was 30 years old and would have still been ok but the original builder put in cheap builder grade equipment. The problem came when the main breaker went out and the company that made it is not longer in business. And unlike now they were not standardized. So replace all of it and be done with it. As far as being outside they will last just as long. Weather was not the problem here.
