did not shoot much for myself today. Did see some nice clouds but by the time I got my camera and went to where I wanted to go they were almost gone.

Great photos Don, your Zoo shots put my photos of Africa to shame ;) also do you know how the Pink Flamingoes get their colour? Its actually from the algae that they eat, they aren't always that bright :)

Thank you for the compliment. I am practicing with my new 70-300 for a Private Photo tour of the Okefenokee Swamp later this month. I have 4 hours with just my wife and a guide so I need to get it right the first time. And I have a yearly pass to the zoo. I is one of my places that I get my daily walk in. The camera gets me up and going and stopping and taking photos gives me a valid reason to stop and rest a minute. I am old so I can't power walk like I used to :)

Haha well going slower is better for seeing more around you and not whats directly in front of you. I am looking forward to seeing your swamp photos later this month.
