Deselecting a tool in Photoshop

I do shoot raw. I am doing well using LR, I simply want my pictures to be as good as they can be and to represent what I saw when looking through the viewfinder. I don't want to edit in a red sky when it was blue, maybe just accentuating the clouds etc. I think most (or all) I want to do can be done in LR.
