Noticed I hadn't gotten around to starting a Daily thread...

And for some reason while I was reflecting back on 2014 the other day, Rancher (Dave) popped into my head....so I figured I would carry on his old thread title...

I know I said when I first started this thread it was for 2015. Well this will be my permanent home thread for Nikonites. So grab a cup of joe, or even a pot. It's going to be a long one.

Not sure what I think about the wisps of smoke shots. But it was a first attempt. And more of a what the hell attitude than any real preparedness on my part. I will have to buckle down and really give it a go next time.

Haha! The first one I forgot my paper towel diffuser.....and the second I was using a dark...blue....maybe black coat as a crummy backdrop and it wasn't working too well.

Funny side note, since blacks and dark blues trip me up. I have turned back to the time tested dark blue socks are textured, and my black dress socks ain't. It can become painfully obvious when Ya get them mixed up.

Yes but you can always say you have another pair at home just like them :D

I think about Rancher every so often. It's coming up on one year since he left us (1/19).

I know....

I can't believe its almost been a year already. I figured this way was the best way to remember him. For me anyways.
