Deezeys Just Click'n It 2014!

Good luck. It is rough finding ammo. Let alone the type and weights I use. I used to reload, but never saved a dime. Spent more actually. I shoot target ammo for practice...but use the same weight as my self defense ammo.

My wife kept asked me before this ammo shortage started "Do we have enough ammo?" I always responded by buying more. WE shoot a lot of 22lr. She shoots a Walther P22 and I shoot at Sig 522. These are the ones we can go play with and not cost us a fortune. I bought ammo for those by the case so I have a very good supply at the good prices. $17 for the 525 pack. Wish I could buy it for that price now.

The 9mm is for open carry and around the house. I have a 357 Magnum that lives in the truck. A KelTec P32 for conceal carry and a 12 gauge that lives by the door.

We have a lot of shooters here on the forum

Flood Light 2.jpg

A Floodlight besides my backdoor! The pattern caught my eye because it seems to change the more a stare at it. Weird.

More of a 3/4 shot of the light.

And one just for fun.

We have family in KY that own a cattle farm. But that skull is a reproduction. But I do have two real ones in the house.

You don't get the effect from the photo unfortunately. Which is a real bummer....

The effect is called the Moire effect. We had to make our news people get their clothing approved before they could wear it on air because they would wear items that would do this on air. It would drive the camera wild.

Ok. So I have LR5 and Nik Tools. And there is an option to export with HDR Efex. So here is my question...how is it a true HDR if you are only working on one image? I am a little confused here.

I thought to do a true HDR you needed to merge a bracketed or at least a series of photos at different exposures to create an HDR.

Anyways. A rehash of one of my New Hampshire shots exported in the HDR Efex from LR5. But....its only from one shot....ok. I am cornfused...

Anywho. It is cool to play around in. But how do I get to true HDR functions?

First off great shot!

A couple of guys do HDR with one shot. Process it so that you have the original (correctly exposed) and then one under and one over exposed using the highlights from these three to create the HDR. At least that is the way I understand it.

Yay! I have been reading on the interwebs. I have figured out what I need to do. Big DUH.

The problem with the in camera is it is only a 2 shot HDR. I am looking at doing more 5-7 shot HDR images. Just something new to learn.

In ps there is an option to merge 2-3-5-7 shots, for HDR. Maybe ask Dave or Jake what they use for the merging part.

Lovely image!

I just got the Photoshop CC. Freaking awesome. Yeah, I was going to ask both of them actually. But I was trying to exhaust all my other resources first. I believe finding stuff out on my own is an extremely important part of growing in this hobby.

I am also excited but a little overwhelmed with Ps CC.

I have a ton of more research to do. Lately I have been watching more videos and reading more blogs than shooting. Kinda sad, but a needed part of the process.

I wish we lived closer, I would love showing you the basic stuff. But you'll learn fast. Yes it's very good to figure stuff out yourself but sometimes you spare some frustrations, when starting out with the right program - meaning, not sure if the PS HDR program is the best, but maybe it is what everybody are using. Hmm. Let me know if you find out someday.
