My TV has died, (temporary) the lamp blew (DLP), i have ordered 2 new bulbs (1 spare) from amazon, now a 3 day wait, so we have gone from a 73" to a 21", too darn lazy to disconnect the 60" from upstairs to fill its spot, it means i have plenty of PC time to get caught up on here, kids aren't too happy thou.

Anyone else get these probs?? i had a rear projector Tv for 10 years and never changed the bulbs, cleaned them once, this one is about 2-3 years, the fix is pretty simply when you have the new bulb, i was over in the TV showroom and the new TV's (4k) look amazing.

My first big screen TV was a Samsung DLP back in '05 when I retired. Got stolen 4 months later ...my house got robbed. Went with a Samsung LCD after that (it's in my office now after I fixed it). In the living room (lounge) I have a 42" LG LED TV.

I have a 47" LG in one bedroom and an LG 23" Monitor-cum-TV in another. Waiting for 4K 60" to come down in price before I get one. I also have 2 HD (1920x1200) monitors where I can watch downloaded movies.
