Hey guys,
I've been letting a friend use my old D3100 body for the past year or so. She complained that it wouldn't turn on, so I assumed it was a battery issue and bought a new one. After charging the new battery, I still get no green light when I stick the battery in the housing. I checked the leads in the housing and on the battery itself and everything looks perfectly fine. The charger does indicate the battery is charging and does indicate when it is full.
I've only put it through roughly 20,000 actuations, and as far as I'm aware, my friend hasn't subjected it to any major water damage/dropping.
Anyone else experienced this or something similar?
Thanks in advance.
