Scott Kelby was telling a story about a well known landscape photographer. When he was asked what he did to get such great shots he replied, "Show up an hour before sunrise, hike half a mile from the road to a spot with a view, and repeat this every day for as long as it takes for nature to cooperate."

That sunset makes mine look poor. Its a truly amazing shot that I have just spent a good 5 minutes lost in. I could look at that for hours. There's so much colour...

Here's a shot from the same place but taken on Dec 4th. Not quite as dramatic as last night's sunset. But this spot is a great place for winter sunsets when the sun is setting so far to the south.

Btw, cannot get on your website? Just showes a blank page.

Yeah, I let my Zenfolio expire and am in the process of moving over to Behance. I guess it's time to get motivated, huh? Say, did you also get a Photoshop CC subscription? If so, I'd like to ask you some questions about Behance and making layouts, if you have a moment or two.

No havent used anything with CC yet. And havent seen this Behance before. I use squarespace and zenfolio - when I someday get my own printer, I will stop with zenfolio and use shootproof instead.
