A few shots from the small farmers market down by the river. Was pretty quiet today since it was 90+ pretty early.

Set out across the bridge to find some egrets that I'd seen recently hanging around some flood plain farm fields. Found them .... way out beyond where I could get to them today. Did find a creek overpass that yielded a shocking amount of rather large fish. Wasn't pretty water, so who knows what they'd taste like, but it surely wouldn't be too hard to catch your limit in there.

Kind of a scary thing to find on the side of the road. First thought was to bring it home and fix it up; immediately followed by the feeling that I may not want my fingerprints anywhere near that thing!

Thanks, Bill!!

Been a pretty nice b-day. My great wife surprised me with a Tamrac Expedition 5 backpack, new memory card, and Pixelmator editing software for the MacBook; amongst the expected cologne, etc.

I even took quite a few pictures today. Found a new waterfowl location. Didn't have time to get real close, but I'll be back. Also had the Corvette Caravan roll through town. Saw some amazing 'Vettes and might have a decent shot or two.

Unfortunately the the pics will have to wait until tmrw since the charger was left at the misses office. Just means more to post tmrw eve!

Really had a great day today. Made a few camera breaks in between meetings out on the road. Kind of all over the board with the subjects of the day, but I feel I'm going somewhere with it.
