Thank you, Ron! Was the third tree we tried. Sun was severe today and posed serious lighting issues in a lot of places. Glad she loves to pose as much as I like to shoot. LoL.

Thanks much guys. I'm having a blast walking about with my lens stationary at 34-35mm. Such a great challenge and learning experience. I'm 100% sold on finding a 35mm 1.8 sooner rather than later!!

Same here. Got this close finally, and screwed up the length. Guess this was when I moved it out of place earlier before seeing the sunset on my way home from the store. Needless to say, daddy was not pleased to have been so careless. :-|

Thanks, Steve. I'll be doing that one again tmrw as long as I make time. Not at all happy with the focus and DOF on the flower. Had the camera on Live View; which just wasn't fast enough with the flower moving on the water. I'll have to lie down in the rocks at water's edge to get it in the viewfinder.
