Date and Time Stamps on Nikon D5200

I both Nikon D5200 but my photos are ruined by date and time stapms. I look up whole menu and i don't know how to remove them.
There is no answer on web.
How do i turn off date and time stamps?

no removing them without some serious post processing, best answer is probably "not possible"

do this, backwards:
To enable the Time Stamp…

  • Press the MENU button, then select the Retouch Menu tab (paint brush icon)
  • Highlight Shooting/display, then press the right arrow button on the multi selector
  • Highlight Print Date (d5), then press the right arrow button on the multi selector
  • Highlight Date or Date and time, then press the OK button
  • After enabling the time stamp feature, you should see a DATE icon in the upper portion of the LCD information display


the two green button reset may clear it as well but I'm not sure

thanks for this info, it helped me to find how to turn off the date stamp.
For a 2012 D5200, the setting for Shooting/display (d) is in the Custom Setting Menu (pencil icon)
then select d6 Print Date
then select OFF
