I did lens correction, but I did not click the transform function. That would have straightened it up a bit more. I will likely swap out the photo.

I actually got caught up in the name of the train... Made me think of an old song and I missed that. Thanks.

When I started shooting a lot of Super Wide shots especially Architectural shots I found DxO Viewpoint and it made correcting distortion super fast and simple. I use it as a plugin to Lightroom or it can be standalone.

about a minutes work

Don, that looks great. Do you find DxO Viewpoint works better than the perspective control in LR and Camera RAW? Or is it just faster and easier to use for correcting distortion? Sometimes I have trouble making small perspective corrections to certain areas of a photo. Just wondering if it allows more control over tweaking than LR and Camera RAW.

It is far better because of the way you can adjust it. It has a choice of line to quickly put on the screen along natural line in the shoot you want to square up. Either vertical, horizontal or full square. I can do it in LR but I can do it better and faster with Viewpoint. Like Nik Tools I would not be without this piece of software

Little porch sitting waiting for my wife Pat to get home. 75 and sunny with a good breeze is great porch sittin' weather. Caught a couple birds, but it must have been to windy to fly ;)

I am having trouble with my dates these days. It is the 3rd.. I just thought it was the 4th. :confused:

Yes they do pretty much stay here year around. They are the State bird. I think I like the females more than the males. Colors are just neat. If you had not guessed, they are my favorite bird.

And I saw a Humming bird today. The thing is just to fast.

yeah its real tough to get those in flight with the wings stopped dead, some sit in out neighbors bottlebrush tree, you can creep up on them slowly, but its in the shade now, am is best for a chance.
