I have to admit, I'm finding this new layout a bit of a challenge so I find I'm spending less time here now than I used to. I did start up a Vero account, and have been spending some time seeing what that's all about. It is decidedly less social than an actual forum like this, but the flip side is it's super easy to work as far as posting one's own photos (drag and drop, woo hoo!) and looking at others' works. I was never on Instagram, but comments I've seen liken Vero to Instagram's early days before ads and popular photos were pushed to the top. I do find it rather stale emotionally, with little engagement other than "Likes" and the briefest of comments, so I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to remain active there. But for the moment it's nice to see a large pool of new photos every day that one can filter into one's particular interest(s). I've been taking part in some of their challenges also, so that's been good as far as the hobby goes. Right now I'm part of a "November Create" challenge, similar to our Weekly Challenge except that this is daily (the topic is posted in the morning) and there are no winners. Just participants. Here's a shot I took for yesterday's challenge, "Mug or mugs". I captioned it, "Guess which one my kid sister gave me?":
