D7100 Test

Did some test runs this morning...what do yall think? Lens used was Tamron SP 70-300.

Looking Good! That's nice that you kept the ISO low. I try to shoot at 100 as much as possible.

Not sure if you shot these RAW/NEF, but I highly recommend it. I shoot RAW and then convert them to JPEG later in post-processing (after any adjustments). The Nikon software keeps all your camera settings, by the way, even if you shoot RAW; and it matches the camera controls that you have in the D7100.

Yea i only shoot raw, and convert to jpeg on export. Also, i never go higher than 100iso.

Nice shots. Congrats on the new camera body. The tough part for me was getting it set up and remembering what each button did ONCE I got it set up, but that was half the fun.

Great shots, I have had my D7100 for six months now and I love it. I still learn every time I go out to shoot, and I hope that continues forever! Have fun and ask any questions that you may have, this group is fantastic at helping you learn!
