With the grip, you can get a few more images per second when shooting in "high continuous mode".

Hi Marcel. Actually while this is true for many grip and body combos, alas it is not true for the MB-D11 and the D7000. No increase in fps whatsoever.

All the other points you brought up were spot on. I use the D7000 with the MB-D11 and I never take it off - I love the added stability and comfort it provides (especially when using heavier lenses).

That is correct. This is the only Nikon grip made for the D7000.
