A month late, I know.
But they are $1,500 over here. They will drop again soon; especially the ones bundled with kit lenses.

In the US:
Soon, the used ones will be around $1,100 tops.
Refurbs are around $1,300.

I might end up grabbing one soon. I'm not concerned about the internet hype over the oil/sensor issue.
It certainly will help drive the used prices down.

Imagine that.....full frame 24MP camera for around a grand. :)
What's not to like?

For some of us here there is no hype, it's a painful and frustrating fact. It is a great camera, but if you are one of the ones affected by the oil/dust it truly sucks. Mine will be going back to Nikon for a third time next week. Hopefully they'll keep it and give me my money back. They can then refurbish it and sell it directly to you! Cheers!

I understand what you mean.
I know that it's a very real thing, and it certainly sucks for those affected.
But I feel that it's probably been blown out of proportion in the internet.

So much has been posted online, and mentioned in just about every video about the D600.....that....and the release of the D610 so soon after the D600 was....seems to be having a very real effect on pricing.
Especially over here.

I agree....if you have had to send it back three times, Nikon should just replace your with a D610, which has addressed the issue.

Cheers,
Mitch
