D600 got a day out with the ole AF-d lenses

Trip to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens yesterday. These are from the wife who loves the D600 and the older AF-d lenses even though we have newer AF-s VR lenses to use. I carried around backpack with Z8 gear in it but didn't use it as it was drizzling too much for my comfort for a brand new camera and lenses.

D600 and 35-70 f/2.8 AF-d, and105 f/2.8 M AF-d. Still going strong.

For some reason not getting the option to insert the pictures?? Tried attach files, and insert image icon at the top???

Maybe resize the photos a little smaller?

I normally use a 28-105mm D f/3.5-4.5 with my infrared conversion D600. It focuses fine for landscape photos and most importantly, does not have an infrared hot-spot in the center.

First - Nice shots

Second as BF Hammer suggested maybe smaller, I could only quickly spot the instructions for the old forum software (still mostly valid). I think the new forum software allows larger sizes (automatic resize in question) but that slows page displays. Ideally 1000 pixels on the long end works great for inserting and forum speed (pages display better, easier on he server).

Many forums are standardizing to 1400 pixels long side, this can work also here. From my experience I keep files under 1.5mb for the site.

Also try to right click your images and see if you get "insert photo"

Hope this helps

Guidelines to adding a photo to your post.

1. Resize photo to 1000px on the long side.
2. Resolution set to 72ppi (Pixels Per Inch)

These guidelines will be good for viewing on a computer but will not be good for printing. This will help safeguard your copyright.
