Most likely this is user error - I haven't experienced any issues since I've been cognizant about it. Yet I don't tend to hold the body (or touch it) near the shutter button when carrying it with my Black Rapid strap. I find myself holding it at the lens near the TC when it is hanging upside down from the BR strap. But no further issues so far.
