Today is the second time I've run into something unusual. Looking through the images I shot today, the first one is simply a blurry image that is green. It was taken 2 minutes before I took a photo of a birdhouse. The other day I had a couple images of nothing (blurred pics of nothing) that were in the middle of the images I took (those pics have since been deleted). Since it was the first time I've experienced that, I assumed I must have accidentally pushed the shutter button - plus the body had a rain jacket on it so I thought possibly I pressed the shutter accidentally. But today's instance without a rain jacket makes me wonder if something is up with the body.
The only other time I encountered this problem is when I used an SB-28 on a Nikon N70. Based on the flash's serial number, that flash had issues, and both the flash and camera body were repaired under warranty.
Has anyone encountered a D500 that takes an image even when the shutter button isn't pressed? I'm still within the first 30 days here....
