D3200 Error - 'Lighting is poor; flash recommended'

I receive the error above for almost every shot I take (even when there is plenty of light). It's the little question mark circle that flashes in the bottom left of the display. It's not a huge deal because I'm competent enough to expose my shots... It's just a bit annoying and was wondering if this happens to anyone else or if anyone has a fix??

I don't think you can turn off that warning off on the d3200. Many people disagree with when the camera recommends flash. It might be 'thinking' the shot could benefit from fill flash. If your results are coming out as expected, then just ignore it. On some of the higher end models the warning can be disabled.

I just ignore it, 95% of the time the picture is fine, and if a little dark, I adjust the iso a little.

If you let us know the shooting parameters we can guide you better. Let us know
. Mode : A, S, P or M
. ISO : Auto or fixed (then the number)
. General light of the ambient (if your images come well exposed, then the Aperture, Speed and ISO)

The message depends on what mode you are using.
. It rarely comes in A, except when the light is extremely low
. It comes often in S mode, to indicate that the camera cannot open the aperture more (beyond the maximum for that lens)
. If it comes in P mode then the flash should pop up automatically
. If there is a P mode with flash inhibited then it will always flash the message in low light
