Today was a first for me. I tried my hand at making a homemade pizza. Let me go back to say that
I have never been a big pizza fan unless it was LOADED with meats and not many places make them
that way. Anyway back to making the pizza. My son who lives in St. Louis made one last week on his
Traeger and told me that he will never eat a pizza any other way. That got me to thinking. I have
sourdough and that would make a great crust for the pizza. I had to try it. Yesterday I made the dough
and got things ready for today. Actually I was very pleased with the outcome and I have decided that
this pizza will be my go to pizza. Sourdough crust, sausage, hamburger, peperoni, ham, left over
smoked chicken from yesterday, bell pepper, onion, jalapenos (my side), mozzarella cheese, and
pepperjack cheese. Cooked on the Traeger. It was GREAT if I say so myself. I think I will call it
The Artery Plugging Pizza.
