A Ham Radio camping weekend. It was what is called Winter Field Day
(actually 24 hours in the weekend) where it is lets you hone your emergency communications skills.
I operated from a tent using batteries charged by solar panels to power the radio. I used two antennas.
One was a 125' of wire up in the trees and the other was a home made vertical. These are a few of the tent setup.
This setup was similar to one I used last year in the same camping spot.
