A difficult day. First I headed up to a spot to take some "Cityscape shots. The road was closed due to flood damage so I turned around and got this shot. Not near what I had in mind.
So then I drove to another spot to try to have a chance at a sunset. First shot, I didn't like so I changed settings and started to get another shot. Tapped eye (I guess) with rubber around viewfinder and knocked out my contact. Now it is time to look for a contact on the asphalt laced with glass and other stuff. About an hour of scouring the ground with a flashlight, I was about to give up when I thought I saw it. Yep that was it. Praise the Lord! Now back to getting a shot. Too bad all of the time was spent and I did not have time to play with some settings that I wanted. This is it.

Not much time for photos today. I purchased a new "Ham Radio" for the trip I am starting on tomorrow. Actually, I started on it today, but only to my daughter's place in the Phoenix area. It is HOT here too. Installing the radio in my truck was a very hot and sweaty job, but it got done.
Now I am ready to head toward @Danno 's part of the country. Too bad I won't have time to slip over another 70 or so miles to see him.
Yaesu FT-7900R/E radio installed and ready for the trip.
