Walt I think your grasshopper is a tarantula hawk wasp, is there red on its back? On my phone and can't see it to well.

Roy, you may be and probably are correct. It was quite a distance away and it was almost dark when I took the shot.

Back in town and saw the Hatch Chili roasters again. Trying to get some people shots for the monthly.

I'm not sure what this guy was thinking as he wandered around the tree. When I first saw him he was laying down next to the tree, using it as a back/head rest.
