Making a fun or interesting car ad is nothing new, but Luke Aker took things a step further than most. When it came time to sell his well-loved 1996 Maxima, he released a professionally-produced commercial complete with a symphonic backing track and a gravel-voiced narrator's stiff accent.

I was in TV before I retired and I know lots of people that can do this sort of work and level of quality at home in a short amount of time. Stock footage and the majority of the camera we own and then there is the software for editing which has gotten cheap and getting easier to use all the time. The main thing this guy has is creativity which is what 90% of the people in the world lack. At least this level of creativity.
