Correct download cable

Please could someone advise which download cable is the correct one for a D3100? Is it the UC-E6 or the UC-E4. My camera knowledge is limited. Kid joined a camera club so got a refurbished D3100 to get him started but it didn't come with the cable. Help a Dad out here. Cheers

According to Copilot -

For the Nikon D3100, the correct USB cable is the UC-E4. This cable is specifically recommended for the D3100 model. The UC-E6 can be used as an alternative, but the UC-E4 is the one mentioned in the user manual.

Thanks so much. He'll definitely be joining the forum. He doesn't know he's getting the camera yet. His Birthday is on the 19th so no doubt after that he'll be signing up and joining groups.
