Cleaned my sensor on the D7100

Did you swipe it diagonally. I can see the swap streaks.
I didnt notice at the time, it has been cleaned again twice since that first time. The last time I cleaned all the dust off just using the rocket blower except for 2 stubborn spots which came off with a quick brush with the sensorpen.

I love my Sensor gel stick. Much easier and no chance of leaving any smeary residue. It's reusable and after several uses very cost effective compared to the swab-wipe technique.

How to Use the Sensor Gel Stick

I have been contemplating buying one of these, was just waiting to hear a few more user reports. If you are still using yours and are happy with it, I might just go ahead and order one.
I cant find anyone stocking it in Australia, but on ebay asia there are a few for sale.

I had quite a few spots on my D7000 after visiting the Flight 93 Memorial near Shanksville, PA on a very windy day. I made the mistake of changing lenses and even though I was really careful spots were visible especially in the sky. I took it to a camera store in Allentown, PA and they charged me $50 to clean the sensor. They had it ready for pick up in three days, which I was very happy with. It was worth the money just to make sure it was done properly.

I just ordered a rocket blower this morning....I can see clearly now....the day will come....when I need it.....

......loving that I have a 18-140 mm lens so I don't have to change lenses very often.

Sensor cleaning is something I need to venture into soon. Don't want to rely in Nikon service center although their service is great here in Singapore. If I can do it, then it would be far cheaper and quicker.

I mess up up the last time but with that experience, I think it would be easier. Waiting for my swap to arrive before I start
