I am saddened to read about your dog. I grew up with family dogs and I have two myself. They can be our dearest friends and companions, and it is tough when things like this happen. When we lose them, it can be just like losing a best friend. I hope that all goes well for you and your loved ones.

On a more positive note, great shots! I really like that shot with the bridge. The work you did in post is very nice.

Thanks for the sympathy. We had our first dog for 14 years. She ran in front of a car due to my daughters running out near the street. If it wasn't for her my girls might have been in her spot. The hardest part was she survived getting run over and I had to take her to the vet. All she could do was move her head and tail. We still have our Basset-Lab( just picture a Golden Basset hound) to keep us busy.

As for my bridge shot. Thanks! If I feel something can be framed up and sold, I will clean it up and do a little more post on it. I have to go through a lot of pictures the next couple weeks to see what is worthy.

Getting ready to shoot a horse obstacle course run today. Should be pretty fun.

Saying goodbye to our oldest today. His age and temper has got the best of him. We are afraid he will bite and injure one of the kids. Talking to vets to see if anything can be done. He is considered a senior and is probably in pain. So, his instinct is to bite and protect. He also charges and growls at people coming in the house. I gave him a bath and clipped his nails. Until he bit at me. It's just time! View attachment 103864

That is very sad. I had to say goodbye to plenty of my buddies in the past, and it doesn't get any easier.

I got the day off today and finally got out of my slump and went for a walk. Took some shots and ended up at my favorite glass shop when I was done.
