The birds and gators were disappointing this year. We went on to Crystal River to see the manatees and they had already left for the gulf.

The warm weather I think pushed the migrators out and only left the local birds I found that looking for Shore Birds as well at the beach. This year was my lowest bird count in Florida

The warm weather also pushed the manatees out of crystal river so we missed them altogether. I will have to seriously think about the Florida trip next year.

You should have come south Don. Wako is small, but has lots of nesting birds up close right now.
