Sorry to hear you can't find the Kestrel Kevin. Maybe it's on another card or further along on the card. How many cards did you use?? Guess you'll have to go back and look for that Kestrel!!

Yesterday I thought I was missing some shots I took of a tree swallow or purple martin, but they were on the card just way before where I thought they should be.

We saw the Kestrel just before we met you and Chris I changed cards on the boardwalk on the lake can't remember if it was before or after we were on there the first time I've gone over it and over it and can't find them.

Found them had to put the card back in it never imported 44 pics for some reason

The more I look at this thread the more I think we should have made another loop.

Do you think your legs would have held out after six hours?? Mine were dead after four. Guess I needed to rest more at those sturdy (?) benches. BTW, did anyone get a shot of them??

I am pretty sure I could have done one more loop. Especially if the weather and wildlife cooperate. You know, I have no pictures of any of the benches but I have multiple pictures of all of the nest boxes. Next time I get out there I will have to snap a few.

Thinking about it, it would have been good to go rest for a couple of hours and get some water and a bite to eat, and then hit the trail about 2-3 hours before sunset. If it had not been as overcast as it was, we would have encountered so much contrast mid-day, and the light would have improved later.

I'm fairly sure I couldn't have made another loop from where we ended up.

Chris said to let you guys know he really enjoyed your company and can't wait to do it again next year. He also wants to thank you for retracing your tracks for us. It was very kind. That goes for me too!!

That would have been the way to do it, eat and drink, then go back.
