Yeah, the background was tricky because it was a pretty small space to work with. If you look to the right, I desaturated the TV because that was WAY to much blue and distracting.

I didn't mess with the door because I figured it would kind of flow with the rest of the picture?

If you have a copy of PS, consider using Iris Blur to give it the feel of a shallow depth of field image. Here's a quickie example of what I'm talking about. It takes some of the sting out of unruly backgrounds. With more than the 1.5 mins I worked on this image, you could really zone in on the background/foreground blur to sharp lines.

My eyes are drawn to the eyes on the jumper first then the door behind him. Maybe crop it a little more and change the photo location so its less busy.
