what is your experience having a print done on canvas? I would like to do this print. Do you see any problems from your experience? FENCE 041.JPG

Are you getting a wrapped canvas? Looks like this:

imagewrap.jpg

Pay attention to how the company you're ordering from 'wraps' the sides of the canvas. I purchased one that wrapped them correctly by folding the image over. I have another that used the image for the face and then blurred the image to continue the color in the 4 folded sides. Minor detail, but it doesn't look as good.

You probably don't want a border on the image you submit to them for processing.

I did not even know that anything like that existed... As a noobie, why would want want one like that as opposed to a normal print?? Does it serve a special purpose or is it just a personal preference??

Thanks,

They're super light so can be hung with ease. It's a personal preference whether you prefer this to a traditional print, but a good option over framing.

i saw a print in costco done on canvas and sort-of liked the look. A framed 12x16 $58.99 to 40x60 $489.99. Not
cheap. Just trying to justify doing with some help.

I have one of my favorite photos done in a wrapped canvas. I is by far my favorite. It is a clean look for hanging. No frame, no mat just the picture.
I don't think all pictures are suitable for this treatment. The one you chose might be a good candidate. Over all it is cheaper than a regular print by the time you mat and frame it.
