Well, if you roll up with your 800mm, d4 & monopod and then sit in the stands you'll probably piss off the people in front and behind you. Not to mention, you'll have a hard time parking your trailer.
The Stadiums and fields I am aware of the delimiter as the length of your lens, which for myself and places I attend is 4 inches. No Tri or mono pods of course
