CAMERA RAW Faulty Images

Hi,
I have been shooting on a Nikon D3200 for about 4 months now.
And no problems, infact I love it, UNTIL earlier this week.
I shoot in JPG & CAMERA RAW format.
All the JPGs are fine.
BUT some of the RAW images look strange to say the least.
Heres two examples, they all look different. But just to give an idea.

Whats also odd, when I see the preview in bridge, it looks different again. And when opened into Photoshop this is what I get.

I reformatted the Scan Disk SD card yesterday after the trouble but again today its happening.
Any clues?

It does use a mini SD card in a card adaptor, not sure if that matters.

ALSO if I look at previews on camera they look fine, but I assume that the camera previews JPOG images only.

That's either the card or the file transfer to your computer. Try another card and if that does the same, try another reader or to be sure, upload them to another computer entirely to check.

If the JPEG is fine, the RAW in cam should be too since the one is compiled out of the other.

here's the JPG it took at (or saved rather) at the same time.

There's no way the cam could make this JPEG out of a corrupted RAW file. Something is lost in translation. The card, the connection, the drive or even the software on the computer but it ain't the RAW.

I'd go down the list to eliminate what it isn't.

Very good advice there from J-see.

I would double check your memory card, as you say your using a micro sd card in a sd card adaptor.

Maybe time to buy a hi speed sd card :)

Just to be sure, transfer the RAW file using the USB cable, and then check the RAW file, preferably in View NX (supplied with the camera). If the RAW is fine, then it is a card reader problem.
