Not much difference in the centre of the image:

But just look at the difference at the edge of the image! The samyang is way sharper and has almost no chromatic abberation.

With the difference in Image quality, especially at the edges and in IR, the Samyang is going to be the keeper!

I've got a Samyang 14mm and I like it... no problems at all.

Yeah the 14mm and 24mm are fantastic lenses. I haven't got anything sharper in the short range. I only find the 14mm a bit hard to focus when it is too dark.
