This is by far on of the best spider web shots. The fog behind it really makes it stand out once you click on it to get it larger.
not sure what is going on, but in lightroom these look smooth as silk, but ever since i bought lightroom 5 my down sizing get MORE noise, which is starting to bug me...
Why don't you try to process it with CS5 or 6 just to show us what the difference might be?

Bill, it just came to me that I had the same problem with a CS upgrade. I found out that my resizing options were not the same as my previous version. I'm not sure about LR, but check the resizing options and make sure you use "bicubic sharper" for best reduction. This might be the solution you're looking for.
A few recent ones, didn't have a chance to shoot much last week but we have a couple of vacation weeks coming up in the next month or so which I am really lookin forward to.
