I'll suggest you one thing Scott. Before loosing all that money on selling and buying everything you have, since you want reach, if it was me, I'd just buy a cropped sensor XTi or something with the Bigron, and then when it comes available for Nikon just sell it back with the Xti. I think you'd loose less this way and you could still work with your fantastic D800 and 610 in the meantime for other stuff than super reach.

But again, this is just me.

Here I was thinking it was about way past time for you move on. Those pictures of yours were not helping the reputation of Nikon products and the last thing we needed is for some aussie to screw up the reputation on that new D6 and D7 mentioned earlier on this site. :)
