Buying a D7000

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Tiffen filters! If it's good enough for Hollywood film companies, it's good enough for me. I happen to own 3 Tiffen filters, and they all work flawlessly. I also own some B+H filters, some Hoya filters, and even some Zeikos filters.

I am glad to hear that Jack. Is there a specific grade in the Tiffen filter that is better ? I saw so many different filters and so much price fluctuation I decided to wait to investigate further. I have some old tiffen filters from 15 years ago but they are just too small. I had hoped I could use those as they are in great shape.

Check out Marumi filters, too. They're amazing. And they are not expensive.
Best investment I've made since I bought my D7K a few days ago!

I gots my new baby :D

I also got a Tokina 12-24mm lens & a Nikon 18-70mm lens

Still can't decide between a 35mm & a 50mm prime lol but I have enough to keep me occupied for awhile until I decide. Just wish I didn't wake up with this bloody cold so I could concentrate easier haha

Enjoy ur week Nikonites... :)

Just to let you know, they need to be designed for digital cameras. The digital filters have a different coating on them and will allow the auto focus to work properly. I had a filter designed for a film camera and almost sold my Nikon 70-300VR lens because of soft pictures due having the wrong filter. Once I exchanged it for a filter designed for a digital camera my pictures became sharp. Jeff
