Burn out?

I'm pretty sure we all get that feeling at some point. For me, it's the winter season that curbs my enthusiasm. I don't get a lot of opportunity to get out and take pictures in the winter, as the temperature dictates my enthusiasm. The desire is still there, but the weather doesn't cooperate. :)

While down here in Florida, it's still great for outdoor photography! (Fall is actually my favorite season here, because it says goodbye to our most extreme season.) We just have a new set of subjects to photograph.

While no doubt I'll get somewhat bored of taking the same type of shots locally we travel overseas at least 4 times a year and after almost 30 years, I've never gotten tired of taking travel photo's. I now just have a better set up to do so.

It happened to me after 13 years of photofinishing. When I sold my labs I barely picked up a camera for 10 years all I had in the time was a pretty basic point and shoot. After getting back into it with my Nikons I have fallen in love with photography all over again.

Hi-Jack; Likewise, in the Pacific Northwest, we will have the next (4) months of clouds and rain.

Just a little east into the cascades... and you have some of the most spectacular winter mountain snow shots.
That should keep your 4 month season active :)
I lived on the Oregon Coast for 12 years before moving to Bend. My photo season actually started with the winter storms. Summer there was.. ho hum.. calm waters.

I don't get burned out taking photos since I do it only as a hobby and I really enjoy it. But sometimes I just get too darn busy to sit down and go through them so when I do get a chance my photos are way behind and it gets overwhelming. The taking of the photos is fun though :)
