Buffer too small? Timing is everything.

Baseball-5-2.jpgSOOC cropped. Shot through a chain link fence. Unfortunately the swing was just a little bit low. :)

Not being fecesious. Just curious as to what this has to do with buffer? Did I miss something?
:) Sort of a tongue in cheek comment. You hear so many negative comments about the small buffer and how you're going to miss THE SHOT because of it. I have found that if you work in short burst and pay attention to the action it isn't really a big deal. Of course YMMV.

I rarely use burst mode. I did use it some when I was shooting Bird in Flight photos on my vacation. They were so close and flying so fast the buffer did not have time to fill up. Shooting only RAW with the D7100

For those that do tend to shoot using a burst mode may want to use the settings in the video below. Enjoy.

Interesting there are plenty of times crop mode would do me,i would need to set the back button as a switch between both modes, don't think you can do that though.

After my post i decided to re look at the book,i must have missed using the i button to switch modes, quicker than going into the menus and i could maybe do it without spending time putting my reading glasses on :D
