I guess I could... but the thought of the boogey-man finding him in a dark parking lot has more appeal. Call me old-fashioned. :wink-new:

Today, I got a reply from my CL ad wanting me to send it to california. He is using the e mail name misslaurena98@gmail. I clicked the link and notified Paypal that I have this guy on the hook right now, acting as if I will ship it to him. I hope I can help catch the crook.:cool:

I never pay with funds in my PayPal account. I always use the credit card when dealing with unknown sources (it has buyer protection as well) and on any big ticket item I specify that I will not ship until funds are clear and will provide references if the person balks. I've heard too many internet sales horror stories not to be skeptical about everything. Thankfully I've completed tens of thousands of dollars in internet transactions (mostly from my guitar buying and selling days) and never had an issue with scammers. Avoided a few, for sure.

Which bank account gets linked to your Paypal? I checked all bank's checking accounts either requirement direct deposit or minimum balance in the account otherwise there will be a monthly fee.

I checked Chase, Citibank, BOA, TD Bank, Welss Fargos.

Is there a bank that doesn't require minimum balance and won't charge a monthly maintenance fee?
