Ok, so I had a 100 dollar gift certificate at Guitar Center. Then the thing was on sale at another 100 dollars off. What was I supposed to do? Not plug it in and feel it out? Oh nooooo! That was never going to happen.
The thing played like butter. Sounded sweet as a painted bunting's song. My fingers were sliding up and down the fretboard like they had a mind of their own. How could I walk away and just leave it?
I always wanted one, but talked myself out of it for one reason or another. Not this time.:encouragement:
On a serious note and rant. To anyone who walks into a guitar store and plugs in, please keep your shit down. No one really cares that you can play the minor pentatonic scale really fast and really loud.
Stop being an annoying asshole!!! There are other people there who are trying to decide on an instrument, comparing them by feel and tone and what not. We can't do that while you're shredding scales at high volume in our ears.
Why don't you start a band and find a gig?
