Actually it was no accident. I was shooting a bee in flight when the bee got upset and stung me on the butt. Causing me to fall down. On the way to the ground I switched out my 200-500mm lens to the 24-120. I then switched from my BIF settings to aperture priority. I also changed from Auto ISO to Iso 100 and from AF_C to AF-S focusing. Before hitting the ground, I also enabled 5 exposure bracketing and changed from spot metering to matrix. Then I fired off 5 shots and checked the histogram. I didn't like what I saw, so I lit a cigarette. After finishing my smoke,I took 5 more shots. After being satisfied with the exposure, I hit the ground!

you should have seen him in Florida he made a Painted Bunting Appear from nowhere then it vanished before anyone else saw it

It was my greatest achievement. The look on your face was priceless.

Solar eclipse shots for today.
Lessons learned for next time. Solar filter so the Sun will appear yellow/orange. Longer lens.
Also, once totality approaches, you gotta be pretty quick getting your filter off. I noticed the shutterspeed rapidly started to drop. I quickly took the lens hood off and unscrewed the filter,(which was on pretty tight and I had some trouble . Took more time to take the filter off then I would have liked but I did manage a few shots at totality with high enough SS)
