The Okefenokee Swamp. Waycross, Georgia.

Part1.

Signs

Met @RockyNH Monday at the park and did some shootin' together. He let me use the Tamzooka to try out and I was pretty happy with its performance. Very good vibration control on the Tamron.
Unfortunately we didn't come upon many birds as I hoped, and it was very overcast, but over all we had a good time talking, shooting and just hanging out for a few hours.

Nice shots, Pete. I particularly like the one of the bikes. I work for the company that provides the electro mechanical system to release the bike lock from the rack.

Thanks Steve. After I took that shot, I thought about renting one, but there are too many hills around here.:)

I spend a lot of time in NYC, and when I see them, I think the same. I just no longer have the energy.

Last time I went back to visit family in Jersey for my nephew's HS graduation, I thought about going into the City to do some shots, but I didn't have all week to get in and out of that place.:sorrow:

Just have to learn the best ways in and out. And stay away from Times Square! Next time you're in the area, let me know. I have some interesting places to go on a photo shoot..

Enchanted garden of lights. Rock City on Lookout Mountain is in lights for the holiday season.
I'm only going to put up a few here. The rest can be found on my Flickr page.

Not my best work, but with the combination of high ISO, low shutter speeds, hand held (no way to use tripod, and the many people walking about, this is the best I could do under the circumstances.
